montmorency.org
You cannot coin something like this. Names with genuine history behind them read as established in a way invented words spend a decade trying to earn.
Montmorency carries three separate lives. It’s the tart cherry variety dominating the sour cherry trade, sold as juice, dried fruit and a sports recovery supplement with real research behind it. It’s one of the great houses of French nobility, with a town and valley north of Paris. And it’s Montmorency Falls outside Quebec City, taller than Niagara and a significant tourist site.
Each supports a business: a growers association or juice producer, a heritage project, a tourism operator, a hotel or estate, a food brand trading on provenance. The .org fits the association, heritage and growers’ collective readings particularly well.
Long but elegant, and it sounds like it has been there a while.
