ungathered.com
The un- prefix is underused in naming and distinctive when it’s handled well. It makes an ordinary word memorable by turning it inside out.
Ungathered is real but rarely used, which means it feels coined without being invented. It suggests things scattered and still out there, not yet collected by anyone.
That’s a genuinely useful premise for a brand. A travel company selling places off the standard circuit. A publication covering stories nobody has pulled together. An archive project. A curation product whose entire argument is that the good material is loose in the world and somebody has to go find it.
There’s a quiet literary quality to it that suits publishing, photography and independent media, where names either try too hard or say nothing at all.
Single word, spelled as it sounds, on the .com, with no existing brand claiming it.
