Plain-language projects, civic technology and public information organisations all do the same thing: take technical, institutional or bureaucratic material and make it usable by ordinary people. Anything-to-people is a surprisingly good framing for that.
X is the variable in technical shorthand, the anything, so X2P reads as anything-to-people, anything-to-print, or anything-to-platform. The open-ended form suits a body with several programmes, since the name doesn’t commit to one input.
The .org makes the abstraction read as institutional breadth rather than vagueness, which is the difference between a name that works and one that looks unfinished.
