Ecosystem services is the framework used across conservation science and environmental economics to describe what natural systems actually provide. Nature to people is its plainest statement.
N2P carries that, and also need to policy, which describes advocacy work: taking an identified problem and turning it into legislation or funding. That’s what a great many nonprofits exist to do.
Organisations in both areas are research centres and NGOs using this extension.
The X-to-Y construction supplies the grammar making three letters memorable. A reader given a relationship completes it themselves; a reader given three arbitrary letters has to memorise them, and that difference shows up every time someone repeats the name from memory.
