Domain Tools
Before you buy a domain, sell one or build a site on it, you want a few plain facts about the name. These free tools give you them in seconds. There’s no account to create, and every result comes from live public records.
Pick a tool
Domain Age Checker Find out when a domain was registered and how old it is. It also shows the expiry date and the registrar, pulled straight from the registry’s record.
Domain History Checker See what a domain has been up to since the Wayback Machine first saved it. The chart shows which years it ran a live site and which years it sat parked or offline, and each year links to a saved copy you can open.
Domain Extension Checker Enter a name and check it against 24 popular extensions, including .com, .net, .ai, .io and the main country codes. You’ll see how many are taken and which look free.
Why use more than one
A registration date can mislead. If a domain expired and someone registered it again, the date resets, and a name with twenty years behind it can look brand new. The history checker is where those earlier years turn up.
The extension count answers a different question: how many other people wanted this name badly enough to pay for it. Put the three together and you’ve got a better read on a domain than most sale listings give you.
