Every employer says they want it and almost nobody teaches it directly. That gap is a market, and it’s the one this word sits on top of. Professionalism covers soft skills training, workplace conduct, ethics programmes and a corporate learning industry that spends enormous sums trying to instil something it struggles to define. Professional associations have the strongest claim of all, since defining and enforcing professionalism is literally their function.

Youth organisations are small, locally funded and perpetually short of attention. Their names have to survive being handwritten on a noticeboard, shouted across a sports hall and typed into a phone by a teenager who heard it once. Long descriptive names fail all three. Three characters fail none. O4T reads as opportunity for teens, outcomes for training, or organising for tomorrow. Youth employment, mentoring and after-school provision form one of the largest categories of local charitable activity in every developed country, and the four-as-for pattern is how programmes in that world are already named.
