opinion.org
Ask a publisher which section generates the most argument, the most sharing and the most subscriber loyalty per column inch, and the answer is the same everywhere.
Opinion is the most durable format in media and one of the few that travelled intact from print to the web to social platforms. This is the word itself, unmodified, on the extension that signals a platform rather than a brand.
That distinction shapes what the name suits. Commentary published under a .org reads as a venue where arguments are hosted rather than a masthead pushing a line, which is the posture most opinion operations actually want. Syndication networks, op-ed marketplaces, debate platforms and the commentary arms of nonprofit newsrooms all fit better here than a coined name would let them.
There’s a research reading too. Polling, survey work and public sentiment measurement sit under the same word, and an organisation measuring what people think has a clean claim on it.
Offers welcome.
