K3S in the letter-digit-letter shape types fast and reads cleanly at any size, with a distinctly technical feel that suits where .net names belong anyway. It works as a CLI tool name, an API host, a documentation site or a company identity, and developer products benefit disproportionately from brevity because the name ends up typed into terminals and config files constantly.
For a buyer outside infrastructure it’s simply a very short address with nothing to unlearn.
The economics are unchanged after twenty years. Three-character strings on the major extensions are a fixed pool, almost entirely held, with few changing hands in a year.
